The unsettled September weather did not stop the traders and bargain hunters from descending on Tynemouth’s Covered Market!

Tynemouth Christmas Market 2010 (4th-5th December)

Following on from the huge success of last year we are again hosting the Northumbrain Christmas Market!

The Christmas Market is held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December 2010 with live entertainment and attractions as well as numerous market stalls selling seasonal goods.  On 4th December there will be an opening service from the  Holly Saviour Church as well as a Carol Service.  Santa’s Grotto is also in the Bridge every weekend in December – bring the children along to post their letters to Santa!

If you’re not able to attend on 4th-5th December, the remaining weekends in December are also sure to be lively and hosting many fabulous Christmas Market stalls!

Market Traders book your space now at the 2010 Tynemouth Chrismas Market!  Forms are available from the Market Office at Tynemouth Station or by calling (01670) 536 911.  You will need to book well in advance as space is limited and fills up fast!

August Bank Holiday Market 2010

Monday 30th August 2010

We are holding a Market of 50+ stalls!  The Market will be on the West Concourse and will include arts, crafts, antiques, food, collectables and general stalls.

The Market will be held along with the Big Green Day Festival which is held on the East side with music and entertainment.

French Market – December 2009!

We’re hosting a special selection of interesting French Market stalls for one day only on Sunday 6th December. Fantastic French produce will be available including bread, crepes, cheeses, sausage, cured meats, olives, fruit and vegetables, honey, sea salts and wine!

Make sure you arrive early for the best selection – markets open at 9am!

Tynemouth Christmas Market 2009! (16th-20th December)

Come down to Tynemouth Station and be part of Tynemouth’s first Northumbrian Christmas Market!  The market will run for 5 days, from Wednesday 16th December to Sunday 20th December.

We will be hosting a large range of stalls including the popular Farmers Market, and there will be plenty of entertainment including carol singers, school choirs, a Merry-Go-Round and of course Santa’s Grotto!

Whether you’re after bargain bundles of wrapping paper, last minute presents or just wish to soak up the Christmas atmosphere with a lovely hot chocolate, there’s bound to be something for everyone at the Tynemouth Christmas Market!

Traders wishing to hold a stall at the Christmas Market should call to reserve a place. (01670) 536 911. Hurry, it’s filling up fast!

Step off the Metro and in to the Market!

Step of the Metro at Tynemouth Station on any weekend and enter one of the busiest markets in the North East.  Various stalls are present on both the east and west sides of the platform.  Have a look at the Market Stalls section of the website for a glimpse of what can be found.

We’re holding our regular Farmers Market today at Tynemouth Market!
This takes place every 3rd Saturday of the month so if you miss out today, be sure to come down and see the next one – Saturday 21st November.
